Pit Run - Pit Run is a grey granite rock that has bluish/gray coloring with salt and pepper speckles, angular shapes and soft edges. Pit run boulders are mined by blasting from a local quarry in Phoenix.

Surface Select - Surface Select rock is naturally weathered granite that varies in color from light camel to dark brown; some have flecks of black, which is referred to as desert varnish. Each boulder is unique in color, texture and shape. Some have naturally occurring fissures that adds character to the boulder and the appearance of the water feature. Surface select boulders are harvested from various Arizona mountainsides and are trucked in on flatbed trailers.
